The wines we will feature are red blends made up of three or more grape varietals. We will start the tasting with a gold medal winning Bordeaux style red from Dry Creek Valley, next will be a gorgeous Australian MSG with a 90 point rating, then on to an easy-sipping Cal-Italian blend from Sonoma, from there we will have a Bordeaux blend with classic Napa flavors and texture at a great price, and finally, a big nicely proportioned red said to be spicy with a long finish from THE hot brand from Australia right now. You won’t want to miss this variety of red blends that are additionally great values!

    1. Forchini-Beausierra – Well I didn’t expect it taste ITALIAN. I guess the name should have given me a clue! Smelled and felt Italian but had more fruit.

    2. Rutherglen Estates – Now I’m really confused. So French, those Bastards! Not Aussie at all – no baked stone fruits anywhere.

    3. Siena – Anthony! No, its not your average Prince spaghetti night. For all that sangiovese you would have expected something else!

    4. Piccolo Cru – Classic Bordeaux blend that smelled French but tasted totally American with forward fruit.

    5. Mollydooker – As David Bowie sang – LET’S DANCE, PUT ON YOUR RED SHOES AND DANCE! Overall, a bodacious evening that didn’t have a blonde moment!

Glad you enjoyed it. I’m looking for the outside the box type of reviews and tastings.
